Sefton Council’s Tourism Department is looking to commission the services of a specialist PR agency to assist it in further raising the profile of Southport as a ‘coach friendly’ destination. It is anticipated that the Contract will run from 1st June 2016 to 31st March 2017. The purpose of the Campaign is to further raise the profile of Southport as a coaching destination via trade press (digital & print) targeted at coach operators and group travel organisers. It is expected that the successful agency will have a full understanding of and be currently operating within the Leisure & Tourism Sector. The successful agency must be able to build on the success of previous years work achieved by the tourism team. This Campaign will include both traditional and digital (social media) exposure in travel trade press. At the end of the Campaign the successful agency will be required to provide a report evidencing the work undertaken and success achieved. This will include samples of media coverage secured, read and value of coverage. The Campaign report may be provided in a digital format, to be agreed with the Council. The Council has a maximum budget of £3000 for this procurement and any bid received that exceeds this amount will be removed from consideration.
