David Cameron is leading a delegation to the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
Alongside the Prime Minister, ministers from other departments, including the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Department of Energy and Climate Change and Department for International Development, are attendingUNGA.

The Prime Minister has set out his priorities for the UK as follows:
- countering ISIL and the situation in Syria
- Global Goals – making sure that no one is left behind
- climate change

The Prime Minister has called on world leaders for more aid spending and more accountability. As well as speaking at the 3-day UN Summit to adopt the Global Goals, he will also bring together world leaders, NGOs and business representatives for an event focused on the global promise to ‘Leave No One Behind’.
