Metropolitan is seeking to appoint a single service provider for an extendable Term Partnering Contract to undertake responsive repairs and works to voids, planned investment in major components, services to electrical and renewables installations and (potentially for a part of the overall contract term) gas servicing and maintenance to all of its properties in its East Anglia Region.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The approximate annual value of responsive repairs and works to voids is GBP 1 500 000, with Gas Servicing and Maintenance at GBP 400 000 and the average annual Planned Maintenance spend at GBP 1 100 000. The total annual spend being approximately GBP 3 000 000 and the potential ten year term being worth GBP 30 000 000 to GBP 36 000 000 allowing for stock growth.

Description of particular conditions: The selected Service Provider will be required to offer a TUPE transfer to all qualifying staff currently engaged upon the contract. The selected Service Provider will be required to demonstrate that all relevant employees engaged upon the contract are qualified to the appropriate requirements of the Gas Safe register, NICEIC and/or any other relevant Certification Bodies.
Metropolitan has specific requirements in respect of the provision of customer contact and management of the customer interface which will be detailed fully in the Invitation to Tender.
