Translink wish to procure the services of a single Consultant to provide a Management Asbestos Survey in compliance with Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012) throughout Translinks’ Assets and in accordance with current legislation. The Specialist Consultant must be able to demonstrate that they are fully compliant with industry standards and hold current accreditations in their field expertise. As a minimum the Specialist Contractor shall have experience and training in: Survey Planning Survey Resources, Technical Specification, Quality Control, ACM Assessment Criteria.

The Translink Group will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
