As part of the reporting process there may be a requirement to include an independent report prepared by an external auditor of factual findings according to Annex 5 of the Grant Agreement. The purpose of this report is to provide the Commission with the necessary elements to allow them to assess those items that reported are in accordance with the relevant legal and financial provisions of the Grant Agreement.
The beneficiaries must submit the final report within 60 days following the end of the last reporting period. a ‘certificate on the financial statements’ (drawn up in accordance with Annex 5) for each beneficiary (and for each linked third party), if it requests a total contribution of 325 000 EUR or more, as reimbursement of actual costs and unit costs calculated on the basis of its usual cost accounting practices (see Article 5.2 and Article 6.2, Point A).
The University might also decide to carry out additional interim audit were deemed required.
