General requirement description:
Chichester District Council is seeking suitable organisations to tender for a contract to providing corporate banking services for a period up to next 7 years.
The following minimum criteria must be met and maintained by bidders in relation to financial standing:
i. Organisation has an equivalent Credit Reference Agency rating of Standard and Poor’s ‘A-’ or above
ii. Organisation is registered and authorised with the FCA and PRA to offer the services required in this contract.
iii. The organisation is compliant with the Banking Act 2009 and Financial Services Act 2012.
iv. The organisation is a direct member of the UK clearing system.
The initial contract for Chichester District Council under the framework agreement will be for the requirements of Chichester District Council who will be looking to contract for an initial period of 5 years with an option to renew annually up to a maximum of a further 2 years.
Chichester District Council may also ask for additional associated services to be undertaken/added throughout the contract term. These services will be priced and offered to the Chichester District Council but may only be undertaken upon acceptance of further quotes.
The services required will include, but not limited to the following:
i. Bank Accounts: General account, creditors account plus income accounts (see Section 2) and a deposit account,
ii. Online or electronic account access to balances and statements,
iii. Cheques and paying-in-slips,
iv. Overdraft facilities,
v. Cash and cheque handling facilities,
vi. Electronic transaction facility,
vii. Optional corporate credit card facility,
viii. Optional investment accounts.
