II.1.4)Short description:
This is for the provision of Cycle training and awareness courses in Schools and to children more widely, known as ‘Bikeability’ and to offer courses to the public, companies and Adults generally, known as ‘Love to Bike’. A supplier is required to undertake, promote and organise tendered courses and develop and increase take up in these provisions.
The procurement is looking to source one provider who can cover the Council’s requirements within this provision and then develop greater awareness and availability of the provision. The contract will be for an initial three year term and will include extension options.

Services will be provided to Warwickshire Schools and summer camps primarily with the ability to provide services to other public sector and private sector clients where demand is identified.
II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The procurement will follow an Open Procedure which will look to select a single winning supplier.
The evaluation will include mandatory requirements and the Award Criteria can be found in the procurement documentation
The provision will be funded by investment from the Department for Transport (DfT).
As an outsourced provision, TUPE is expected to apply to this provision, details of which can be found in the procurement documentation.

Once established this provision will become recurrent procurement process until the Council no longer wishes to commission it.

Following the initial 3 year term, the contract will include options to extend the provision for a maximum of 24 months (2 years) resulting in a 5 year contract.
