Leicester City Council invites Tenders for the provision of business rates debt recovery support.
Provide for support and advice from a Supplier specialising in debt collection and insolvency, with experience of providing a similar service for Business Rates and Council Tax debts to other authorities. Advice and action is likely to be, but not limited to, disputed and contentious rating matters, for example, charitable occupation, lease surrender disputes, intermittent occupation.

Any appeal during this period shall be addressed to: City Barrister and Head of Standards, Leicester City Council, 16 New Walk, Leicester, LE1 6UB, UK. If the appeal is not successfully resolved contractors may commence legal action for breach of duty in the High Court in accordance with Regulation 92, within 30 days of the date when grounds for stating proceedings first arose.
