Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) are inviting bids from organisations who would be interested in providing Rotherham’s Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service that meets the needs of adult drug and alcohol users resident in Rotherham. The culture and direction of the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service is based on ‘self-help’, therefore the service must continue to value and build on the peer mentioning and volunteering elements that have helped to create the ‘recovery ethos’ within the system and increase the number of individuals recovering from drug and alcohol dependence. The maximum contract value available is 450 000 GBP per contract year with a total value over the 4 years (based on 2 Years with the option to extend for a further 2 Years). Overall value over the 4 years is 1 800 000 GBP (please note this is not a guarantee of funding), and may vary up or down.
