Magnox Ltd has a requirement for a suitably qualified and experienced OH Service supplier to provide ad-hoc supplementary occupational health services at any or all of its business locations in the UK.
There is also a requirement for providing OH care to Magnox in house OH professional staff, providing an Employee Assistance Programme, providing psychological supervision to OH practitioners, HR professionals and TU representatives when necessary, provision of a critical incident support team post-hoc if required, and providing sample-collectors and Medical Reporting Officer to administer Drug and Alcohol screening tests.

Magnox Ltd has a requirement for a suitably qualified and experienced Occupational Health (OH) Service supplier to provide ad-hoc supplementary occupational health services at any or all of its business locations in the UK.
Magnox provides suitable and sufficient OH Services according to Corporate Standards and Protocols to all its employees.
Staff provided by the Service will be expected to work to these Magnox Protocols.
For the purpose of this contract, Magnox have divided the occupational health services into core medical services (CMS), contract management (CM) and optional services (OS).
The core services include provision of advice from a Consultant Occupational Physician, including On-call’, administrative support for Magnox OH systems as necessary, health surveillance, fitness for work assessments, baseline assessments for new employees, DSE and ergonomic assessment in complex cases, case management assessments and meetings, delivery of health promotions as required and radiological emergency and decontamination services. Additionally there is a requirement for an ‘appointed doctor’ as defined in the Ionising Radiations Regulations (IRR’s).
