The British Embassy has an extensive internet system distributed to approximately 150 users throughout the embassy campus. It uses a 21Mbps full duplex Ethernet link provided from our current ISP. The ISP service is distributed to various locations through our network distribution system. The network will be expanded to include a further 40 plus users. We are looking to retain the network infrastructure but improve on our current ISP service and introduce measures that will apportion and control bandwidth more fairly.
The duration of the Services shall be for an initial period of 36 months from the contract start date and subject to the Contract Terms & Conditions, with an optional extension for further two 12 months period at the Authority’s sole discretion.
