The Council is seeking a recovery-focussed tier 2 alcohol service, to provide open access to: alcohol specific advice, triage assessment, extended brief interventions and referral between tier 2 and tier 3 interventions to commence on 1.4.2015.
The overall aim of the Derbyshire Substance Misuse Strategy is:
To reduce illicit and other harmful drug and alcohol use, and increase the numbers recovering from dependence.
This service will aim to:
— Provide a single point of access for people who misuse alcohol in Derbyshire
— Reduce alcohol-related harm among those drinking at hazardous or harmful levels
— Identify and support access to treatment for those individuals indicating alcohol dependence
— Deliver a fair and equitable service, ensuring access for underserved and previously unidentified alcohol misusing individuals and communities
— Develop the capacity and capability of: local health, criminal justice and social care workers to identify problematic alcohol use and deliver brief interventions.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Derbyshire County Council will operate a minimum of 10 calendar days standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to the relevant economic operators. Debriefing by the Council shall be in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) (the Regulations). Such information should be requested form the addresses in Section 1.1. If an appeal regarding the award of the contract has not bee successfully resolved the regulations provide for the aggrieved parties who are of the opinion that they have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the Regulations, to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought promptly (generally within 3 months).
