Newcastle Parking Services are looking to build upon the successful introduction of a cashless parking system that has operated in car parks operated by the Council for the past 5 years, following a previous successful trial in 5 of the City’s key car parks.
In excess of 125 000 customers have signed up to use cashless parking in Newcastle with numbers continuing to grow on a monthly basis. Over 30 000 transactions are currently being processed each month.
This service development was initiated to increase user choice and convenience with regard to making secure payments for pay and display parking.
