South Ayrshire Council is committed to providing high quality services by working effectively with independent sector organisations to provide timely and proportionate support for individuals who have experienced rape and sexual abuse.
Services provided by the successful organisation should be compatible with the ethos of the following local and national documents:-

The Council wishes to contract with a suitable Provider to deliver a Rape Crisis and Counselling and Support Service to survivors of rape and sexual abuse across South Ayrshire and has made provision for an annual budget of GBP 69 925 for this service.
The duration of this contract will be 3 years, which may be extended by two further periods, each of 1 year duration, at the sole discretion of the Council. This service is expected to commence on 1.12.2014.
We will only consider tenders from organisations who can evidence that they have experience and who have carried out work in this type of field previously.
Counsellors will be on the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) register of counsellors and/or Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland (COSCA) register of counsellors.
Organisations should be aware that TUPE may apply to this tender and the current Provider’s TUPE information is provided as part of the ITT documentation.
