The Royal Marsden has a vital role in championing change and improvement in cancer care through research and innovation, education and leading-edge practice, and in community services through innovation and partnership working. It is a leading provider of oncology services from 2 hospital sites: Fulham Road in London (105 beds including 16 critical care) and Sutton, Surrey (101 adult beds).
The liaison psychiatry services are required to respond to inpatients and ambulatory care patients Monday- Friday 9:00-5:00 pm and provide specialist outpatient psychiatry review of patients with mental health issues related to their cancer diagnosis and/or treatment. There is also a requirement for an out of hours service with the availability to attend to assess a patient on both sites of the hospital if required.

The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a supplier who will be able to provide the liaison psychiatry services to respond to inpatients and ambulatory care patients Monday- Friday 9:00-5:00 pm and provide specialist outpatient psychiatry review of patients with mental health issues related to their cancer diagnosis and/or treatment.
