Contractors will be expected to deliver services which demonstrate a best value approach. Public liability and employers liability insurance of a minimum of GBP 10,000,000, Professional Indemnity insurance of GBP 10,000,000 will be required and other insurances may be required as appropriate. West Sussex County Council is a public authority within the meaning of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and all correspondence received will be dealt with in accordance with the Act.This is a non-mandatory OJEU contract notice for Part B services and is being placed for advertising purposes only and is not subject to the full requirements of the EU Procurement Directives. Organisations should have a proven track record of providing these types of services.
The Authority will enter into the contract for itself and on behalf of other permitted public bodies in accordance with the Public contract Regulations (2006) within the geographical boundaries of East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove City will be permitted to use the resulting contract for these services. Any such Relevant Public Body shall be entitled, with the prior written consent of the Authority, to access and use the contract on the same or substantially the same terms and conditions as agreed with the Authority.
