Canterbury City Council wishes to select and appoint a suitable supplier for the provision of Public Convenience Cleansing and Maintenance and invites prospective suppliers to submit a Tender to meet the Council’s requirements. The Contractor is required to clean, maintain and, where possible, enhance the public conveniences in accordance with the Specification. The Contractor is primarily responsible for ensuring that all of the Council’s public conveniences are available to the public during the stated opening hours and cater for the needs of all the public as far as reasonably practicable. The Contractor is required to adopt a holistic approach ensuring all work is co-ordinated so as to present a seamless service to residents and visitors. The Contractor is expected to take full ownership of all problems and service requests in accordance with the Specification and takes prompt and appropriate action in order to maintain high customer satisfaction levels throughout the term of the Contract.

May be extended for a period or periods of 3, 2-years with a minimum period of 12 months and a maximum period of 3 years subject to the satisfactory performance of the Services by the Contractor. Any such extension shall be on the same terms and conditions of this Contract and shall be subject to mutual agreement in writing.
