FSCS requires a strategic Public Relations and Public Affairs partner to support its delivery of a comprehensive communications strategy. The successful agency will need to get to grips very quickly with the unique role of FSCS and its place in the regulatory family. This is absolutely essential; the agency we appoint will work as an extension of our FSCS communications family and team.
We are looking for a PR and PA agency that can provide:
— An ability to ‘get under the skin’ of FSCS and truly understand the constraints and opportunities that its unique position affords its communications, and can work effectively and proactively within them.
— A strong team with a focus on delivering the right results, with a particular focus on delivering results for the client.
— Capacity as well as capability.
— Creative, compelling and fully financially forecasted plans that are actionable and drive results.
— A track record of working with other agencies and demonstrating an integrated, successful and collaborative team approach.
— A strong focus on evaluation and providing proof of delivery.
In particular, the successful agency will be required to provide advice and support in relation to:
— The creative development, scheduling, implementation and delivery of PR themes, plans and tactics across campaigns;
— Media release writing, distribution and sell-in;
— Support in integrating social media into the full range of FSCS communications effectively;
— Reputation management;
— Crisis communications (as relevant/needed);
— Engagement of key opinion leaders/opinion-formers;
— Organising interaction with relevant journalists and media channels and FSCS senior spokespeople (media contact programme);
— Proactively identifying forward features in the key financial and consumer press;
— Qualitative auditing of key stakeholders;
— Developing and/or implementing FSCS’s stakeholder engagement programme;
— Developing and/or implementing FSCS’s public affairs programme;
— FSCS’s corporate positioning.
