PVCu extrusion for doors and windows and window/door furniture tender 2016 for our Manufacturing division. We will be tendering for 2 lots to cover this requirement and will enter into a 2 year contract with the option to extend for a further 3 years (in 1 year increments). The approximate annual value for both lots is 500 000 GBP.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The Supply of PVCu Extrusion for Doors and Windows and Associated Window and Door Furniture Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) is a housing association with a Manufacturing division who manufacture PVCu windows and doors for our properties and external clients/companies.
PCH are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and highly experienced supplier/manufacturers of PVCu Extrusion and Window/Door Furniture. Lot 1 will be the extrusion to fabricate PVCu doors and windows and Lot 2 will be window/door furniture. You may bid for either or both lots.
PCH are seeking to appoint 1 successful supplier/manufacturer for the PVCu door/windows and 1 supplier but may look at 2 for the window/door furniture. Interested suppliers should have a strong track record of delivering best practice on similar contracts and be able to pro-actively support our business needs.
The contract period will be 2 years with an option to extend annually thereafter due to performance up to a maximum of 5 years for both lots.
The approximate annual value is:
Lot 1 UPVC extrusion — 400 000 GBP approx.;
Lot 2 Window/door furniture — 100 000 GBP approx.
The products put forward within your tender submission must be approved to BS7412:2007, BS EN 12608:2003, BS 6375-1:2009, PAS 24:2012. (This list is not exhaustive) to pass criteria within this tender. PCH reserve the right to terminate either contracts based on annual performance.

PCH reserves the right not to award the contract and/or to award a contract for part or parts of the materials. Lodging of Appeal — further information: PCH will allow a period of at least ten (10) calendar days between the date it gives notice to candidates of the decision to award the proposed agreement and the date on which it proposes to conclude the agreement. If, by midnight at the end of the 2nd working day of the ten (10) day standstill period, PCH receives a request in writing from a candidate as to why it was not successful, PCH is required to provide additional information to the candidate. That information must be provided at least three (3) working days before the expiry of the ten (10) days’ standstill period (though the standstill period may be extended if it is not possible to provide the information in time). Requests for additional information should be sent to the contact at Section I.1) An aggrieved candidate who claims that it has suffered or risked loss or damage as a result of breach by PCH of its duties under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 may take proceedings in the High Court. Any such proceedings must be brought promptly and in any event within three (3) months from the date on which grounds for bringing proceedings first arose (the Court has a discretion to extend the period for good reason).
