Daventry District Council is seeking a suitably experienced organisation to digitise its historic Planning applications held on microfiche
The Council is seeking quotations to digitise approximately 80,000 COMBI microfiche jackets holding both 16mm and 35mm frames. The requirement is to collect all microfiches from the Council, scan and index by Planning application reference number and supply scanned data to CD/DVD/Memory stick.
The Council would like to see the entire scanning project completed between 6 and 9 months from contact commencement.
Prior to the award of the contact the bidders are invited to visit the Council offices to inspect the current facilities, estimate the total number of jackets to be digitised and set a fixed price for the project.
A film test sample and acceptance must be successfully completed before an award is made and price accepted. There should be no cost to the Council for this.
