Description of the goods or services required

The Fire and Rescue Services within Wales:– South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Mid & West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are collaborating to procure Radiation Protection Adviser Services to ensure and demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 (IRR99) and to meet the National FRS Guidance.

> In order for the three Welsh FRS’s to demonstrate the requirements of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 (IRR99) and the National FRS Guidance pertaining to radiological incidents the following criteria must be met by any contracted RPA.
