Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (SBC) is seeking a Partner with the relevant experience, capability and resources to bring forward the Airport Business Park Southend development opportunity.
The proposed business park is located just north west of London Southend Airport and includes an area of c.20.88 hectares under the freehold ownership of SBC, which lies within the administrative boundary of Rochford District Council, who have been working closely with SBC to establish the planning framework for the site. A Joint Area Action Plan has been prepared and submitted to the Government for independent examination by a Planning Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State in April 2014 before an anticipated adoption in Autumn 2014.
SBC’s vision for Airport Business Park Southend is that the development will support the sustainability of the economic prosperity of Southend-on-Sea, whilst creating high level employment opportunities and financial stability.
