II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
— Reed beds are the commonest form of tertiary waste water treatment at STW’s small sewage treatment works with 643 beds located at 333 operational sites. Their function is to improve the quality of waste water effluent from the works.
— A planned annual programme of work is executed each year typically covering approximately 15 sites.
— We plan to award a multi-participant framework with annual competition for the programme of works.

2. Contract duration — we will explore an initial contract duration of 3 years + 2 x 1 year extensions. Participants who are successful in progressing to the RFP stage will also be invited to submit proposals describing additional benefits of a longer contract duration (e.g. 5 years + 2 x 1 year extensions).
