The Council, together with neighbouring Local Authorities including: Amber Valley Borough Council and North Warwickshire Borough Council are seeking to appoint a number of Principle Contractors to a Framework Agreement for Major Void Refurbishment.
The Scheme relates to general building works and mechanical services to the Councils void properties. The Council classes a major void as a property that is not tenanted and requires three major elements of work to be undertaken to bring the property to the Councils Fit to Let Standard. The works will include at least 3 of the following: re-wire, heating replacement, kitchen replacement, bathroom replacement or damp works. This would then be in association with any other works that are identified within the particular property.
