The purpose of the contract is to supply a haulage service as described in the tender documentation. This will include the supply of waste transfer vehicles with drivers, and loaders with operators. The purpose of the contract is to supply a haulage service as described in the tender documentation. This will include the supply of waste transfer vehicles with drivers, and loaders with operators. Haulage is of material consisting of residual municipal waste, organic waste, civic amenity site waste and co-mingled dry recyclables.
There is no guarantee that any agreement or contract will be put in place in relation to this notice. No compensation etc will be paid if a tender or resulting agreement is withdrawn and / or the procurement process stopped for any reason. Bidders should take part in this process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position.
The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). For the avoidance of doubt, the contracting authority points out that no weight will be attached to whether or not an economic operator is an SME in selecting economic operators to submit tenders or in assessing the most economic advantageous tender.
