Tenders are invited for the provision of commercial removal, relocation and recycling services for Derby City Council.
The contract will consist of two separate requirements. The initial requirement is for the relocation of staff, removal and delivery of some furniture, some ICT equipment, some electronic equipment, civic treasures and any retained paperwork from a variety of Council offices to the refurbished Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FE. The second requirement is an ongoing removals, delivery and recycling service for any ad-hoc office moves.
The initial contract period is 1 Year; the contract is estimated to commence Monday 1 October 2012 and expire 30 September 2013.
The current timescales for moving staff and civic items into the refurbished Council House are:
Start Date: Friday 16 November 2012
End Date: Thursday 31 January 2013
There will be an option to extend the contract for 3 years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance, business needs and agreement by both parties. Maximum contract period is four years
