We require two Servers, each of the Servers will comprise of the following hardware: HP Hardware with 1 CPU with 6 cores. 32GB RAM. 2x146GB 15k Drives (SFF). Min 1GB Battery Backed Cache.

Halton borough council are seeking to procure the following ICT equipment.

The opportunity will be awarded on price and the suppliers ability to meet or exceed the specification.

We require two Servers, each of the Servers will comprise of the following hardware:

HP Hardware with 1 CPU with 6 cores
2x146GB 15k Drives (SFF)
min 1GB Battery Backed Cache
1 8GB Fibre Channel Card with 2 ports
DVD Drive
Advanced ilO licence
32 GB SD Card to boot from
Item must be rackmounted and include all fittings / rails

We require Hardware to be HP, and all stock must be new and original UK Specification.

No Grey Market Stock

Please provide a delivery date based upon the order being placed within 5 working days of closure of the opportunity.

Halton Borough Council may abort the Request for Quotation (RFQ) at any time, is not bound to accept any quotation and will not be liable under any circumstances whatsoever for the costs suppliers incur in preparing the quotation.

All questions relating to this quotation must be submitted via The Chest’s Question & Answer facility. Please refer to previously asked questions before asking a question as duplicate questions will not be answered.

Both questions and answers will either be made public on The Chest or
responded to directly to the originator depending on the content.

Halton Borough Council will provide all bidders with their final ranked position only after the evaluation process is complete upon request via The Chests Question & Answer facility.

Decisions are usually made 2 weeks following the closing date of the RFQ.
