Suppliers may approach meeting the requirements with product solutions in different ways. The intention of the procurement is not to specify products but rather functionality areas enabling outcomes. We have categorised our requirements into 3 ‘Tiers’ as follows:
Tier 1 solutions — we anticipate these forming part of the ‘core’ solution to be procured and implemented as part of the ‘base contract’.
Tier 2 solutions — these are likely to form part of the solution and, depending on initial tender responses, we will determine whether these requirements remain part of dialogue and final tenders.
Tier 3 solutions — these are optional (from our perspective) and, depending on initial tender responses, we will determine whether these requirements remain part of dialogue and final tenders.
II.2.7)Duration of the contract, framework agreement or dynamic purchasing system
The contract will be for an Initial Period of five (5) years and continue in force thereafter for a maximum of 5 (five) successive one (1) year periods, each an extended period, unless the contracting authority gives notice under the contract to terminate it before the end of the initial period or any subsequent extended period.
