Description of the contract

An external research agency is required to set out the requirement for a feasibility study to develop a robust outcome evaluation of prison Democratic Therapeutic Communities (DTCs). The aim of this research is to establish whether the difficulties of setting up an experimental or quasi-experimental study on the effectiveness of DTCs on reducing reoffending and improving psychological health can be practically overcome. This is a further competition against Science and Research Group (SRG) Methods and Topics Based Framework Agreement, whose procurement was completed by the Home Office and is not open to others. The mini competition will be against the Methods and Topics Lots.
