The type and nature of the council’s buildings warrant a number of window cleaning competencies. These range from a typical standard ground floor cleaning service to a specialised cradle style suspended cleaning technique. The provision for Window cleaning is expected to be conducted but not limited to Monday — Friday and within normal working hours, although there are some exceptions to this, with cleans conducted over weekends and school holidays.

Lot 1 consists of the following — The cleaning of windows to social establishments to include Youth Centres, Libraries, Town centre buildings, including the head office — Riverside House, Care homes and Customer service buildings.

It is expected that the cleaning of Riverside House is undertaken at weekends due to the nature of the service.
