We are seeking a first-class operator to deliver a high quality catering service from the outdoor kiosks in Hyde Park, St James’s Park, The Green Park and Victoria Tower Gardens that matches the horticultural excellence of these world-class parks. It is expected that the operator will have extensive experience of managing a year-round kiosk operation where unplanned fluctuations in business caused by weather or other factors is fully understood. Substantial upfront investment will be required. The appointed operator will design, build and operate ten bespoke freestanding kiosks and six mobiles in addition to managing three fixed kiosks. Further investment will be required in back of house support facilities and logistics vehicles.
The ten-year concession contract for the Outdoor Kiosks will commence on 1st October, 2018. Note that this contract does not include the cafés and restaurants in the parks which are managed under separate licences.
The contract value as stated in this advert is a forecast of concession holder turnover over the 10-year contract period.
A concession notice was sent to the OJEU who confirmed receipt on 30/7/17.
