This is Salford time! By 2040 the City’s population is forecast to reach 300,000, driving one of the strongest residential markets outside London with 1,800 homes needed year on year by 2040. In addition, Salford’s three strategic growth areas – City Centre Salford, MediaCityUK & The Quays, and the GM Western Gateway – are poised to deliver between them 40,000 new homes and 40,000 new jobs by 2040. Salford City Council is looking to create new strategic partnerships to support and accelerate future development through collaborative working. Partners, sitting at the ‘top table’ will bring expertise, knowledge and innovation to the Council allowing for new ideas and opportunities to be generated within the relevant business areas; leading to improved services and efficiencies and providing additional capacity and capability to progress our priorities and assist in accelerating our vision. We would like to hear from businesses of all sizes to best inform the procurement. Potential Bidders wishing to engage with Salford City Council should express your interest, detailing your organisation name, and the names and position of attendees at future meetings with the City Council. Thereafter interested Bidders will be contacted to provide suitable arrangements for ongoing discussions with the City Council.
