At Turing House School an outstanding and inclusive school is being created, with a clear focus on high performance for children from 11 to 18. The School will instill good behaviour and positive attitudes towards others as the basis for excellence at every stage of school life.
The school will enable children from all backgrounds to make exceptional progress. It will attract and retain outstanding staff and support them to inspire our pupils.
Our school will:
Support all students to achieve their academic and social potential.
It will be committed to the highest possible academic standards, whilst delivering a broad and balanced curriculum. It will value and support the achievements and aspirations of every student, whatever their ability and potential. There will be a specific focus on science, engineering and music.
The school sponsor is Russell Education Trust.
As this is a new school, there is no cleaning service currently being provided. This means that the successful company will be required to recruit and train the full cleaning team. Turing House School will open to year seven students on 3.9.2015 in its temporary home in Teddington following a major refurbishment during the summer of 2015.
From September, there will be about 110 year seven students and 12 school staff. It is anticipated the School will continue to grow at a similar level each year whilst in its temporary home, with a corresponding year on year increase in the area of the current building being occupied. A permanent site within the Borough is being sought for the School to subsequently move to.
The school is placing their cleaning services to competitive tender and are inviting professional cleaning organisations to bid for the contract which will commence on Monday 3.8.2015; although access may be limited during August due to building work and there may be a need for a ‘builders clean’ as well as a subsequent ‘sparkle clean’ prior to the school opening in September.
The cleaning contract will be a ‘year on year’ contract for a maximum of 3 years i.e until July 2018. A new tender will be procured for the permanent school site. The school is not bound to shortlist any candidate that submits a completed PQQ and reserves the right to abandon the tender process at any time at no cost to the school.
The school reserves the right to reject or disqualify a candidate at any stage of this procurement process where there is a change in identity, control, financial standing or other factor impacting on the selection and/or evaluation process affecting the candidate.

The tender is being managed by RM&C Consultants Limited and all queries regarding the process are to be directed to Mike Pooleman +44 1580 715531 mikeindoors@oal.com
