St Peters Catholic School, is a popular and over subscribed school with history dating back over a hundred years. In 1994 a Sixth Form was added enabling then to care for students from the age of 11 to 19. There are currently circa 1 200 students on role of which 200 are sixth form students.

The school is supported by the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull and the Birmingham Archdiocese.

Currently the Schools cleaning is outsourced to KGB Cleaning Services.

The School is placing its Cleaning services to competitive tender and is inviting professional Cleaning organisations to bid for the contract with the intention of awarding the contract following due process by Wednesday 18.5.2016 with a contract start date of Friday 1.7.2016.

The School is made up of multiple building of different ages and finishes covering a gross accommodation area of circa 9 500 m2 (with an estimate net area to be clean of 8 234 m2 to be cleaned. There current a total of 1 200 students on role, including 6th form students.

The School operates Monday to Friday and benefits from lettings 7 days a week.

The current cleaning hours from:

4:00 — 7:00

3:00 — 19:00

In addition to the Cleaning requirement, the School requests the inclusion of

— An early morning Monday Clean

— 2 ½ hour per day Monday to Friday Janitorial service

— Cost of Consumables

— A Locking up service

Optional costs will be required

— External Window Cleaning

— Strip / Clean / Polish the Hall and other wooden floors
