Section VI: Complementary information

VI.1)Additional information:

Perth and Kinross council will use a dynamic purchasing system for this project. A dynamic purchasing system (dps) is a way for a contracting authority to purchase certain goods, works or services. This dps is a completely electronic system established by Perth and Kinross Council to purchase SVQ delivery services for a 4 year period.
This dps is opened throughout this 4 year period for the admission of service providers who will satisfy the selection criteria in the specification document and submits an indicative tender to Perth and Kinross which complies with the specification.
An indicative tender is a tender prepared by a service provider seeking admission to the dps. The tender sets out the terms on which the service provider would be prepared to enter into contract with Perth and Kinross Council when a contract award is made under the dps.
This dps is set up as a completely electronic system. Electronic means will be used to establish the system and award the contract.
PKC is using a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for this project. Once all appropriate Service providers are selected, PKC will make a ‘call off’ from DPS. Annually a new Contract Notice inviting New Indicative Tender Responses will be published. This date will be agreed after the award process.
