Surrey County Council is seeking bids from suitably experienced organisations for the provision of sensory services; this tender comprises of 2 lots.
Lot 1 — Contract for the provision of external combined sensory services for adults in Surrey who are profoundly deaf, hearing impaired, sight impaired, severely sight impaired or who have dual sensory loss, with appropriate support and resources to maintain and/or improve their health and wellbeing. This will enable them to continue to live as independently as possible.
The combined sensory services will include:
1. services to adults with a visual impairment;
2. services to adults with a hearing impairment;
3. services to adults with deafblindness and associated disabilities;
4. services to adults with any sensory impairment.

The indicative annual funding for this service is 1 300 000 GBP. For full details of the service requirement, please refer to the Technical Specification.
Contract Length: 36 months with two 12 month extension periods
Lot 2 — Contract for the provision of habilitation training for children and young people with vision impairment and dual sensory loss of vision and hearing. The purpose of the contract is to provide a specified range of services to children and young people with vision impairment (VI) and multi sensory impairment (MSI) living in Surrey which maximises their choices and enables them to live independently.
The indicative annual funding for this service is 105 000 GBP. For full details of the service requirement, please refer to the Technical Specification.
Contract Length: 36 months with two 12 month extension periods
Both these contracts will also be open to East Sussex County Council.
