The service will provide additional flexible support hours to meet the needs of the individuals using the service during any given week.
There will be a block contract in place for the dedicated 8 respite beds with the successful provider. The emergency beds and any additional flexible support will be paid on a spot arrangement.

This is a non-mandatory OJEU Contract Notice. The Services constitute Part B services for the purposes ofthe Public Contract Regulations 2006 (Regulations) and the procurement is not therefore fully regulated bythe Regulations. Neither a reference during or after this procurement process to the Regulations or the useof language or terminology common to the Regulations shall require the Council to conduct a fully regulatedprocurement in accordance with the Regulations. The contract will be for a period of 5 years with the option to extend up to a further 2 years to a maximum of 7 years. the anticipated contract commencement date is 1.7.2013. Extension will be subject to the performance of the service provider and/or the requirements of the service.
