SEMLEP is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations who can meet all of the legal requirements of Public Sector Contracts, for the provision of training and development specifically for the SME sector.
Key Objectives
You are invited to bid to provide proposals for the delivery of a SME-focused business workshop programme as part of the Velocity Growth Hub offer. The total number of proposed events is 58 workshops between September 2014 and June 2015.
In early 2014, SEMLEP conducted market research to determine the series of workshop topics that will resonate most with the target audience of SME owner-managers. An important consideration for this programme is the avoidance or duplication of existing offers by delivery partners or others which generates revenues for local business network organisations.
Contract
Successful provider(s) will be required to deliver a series of workshops on 7 different topics be held between September 2014 and June 2015. There is an indicative number of 58 workshops, plus monthly webinars over the project timeframe. Each workshop topic must be held in a minimum of 3 locations across a spread of 15 different locations to ensure a fair and equitable coverage across the South East Midlands. The locations are grouped as follows:
— Kettering, Corby and Daventry,
— Towcester, Brackley and Banbury,
— Northampton,
— Milton Keynes and Cranfield,
— Aylesbury, Bicester and Cherwell,
— Bedford, Luton and Dunstable.
