Surrey County Council will be procuring its requirements for the provision of Social Care training services and Accredited Learning through this Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). As our partnership working increases the offer needs to meet the needs of the widening health and social care workforce. As we move towards integrated care services providers need to demonstrate a clear understanding of the key priorities for health and social care provision across both Adults and Children’s services and this needs to be clearly evident in the programme content they deliver.

Surrey County Council is committed to working closely with our partners in the boroughs and districts and other public sector organisations. It is envisaged that this contract will be accessible to other public sector organisations ‘Participating Authorities’ listed as below.
Surrey County Council partners with its districts and boroughs, East Sussex County Council and all its districts and boroughs, Health Authorities; National Health Service Trusts Foundation Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups, Social Care organisations and any other person(s) or body established or financed under the National Health Service Act 1977 as amended and future bodies associated with the delivery of healthcare, that may decide to call off from the Dynamic Purchasing System at a later date, within Surrey and East Sussex.
The other public sector organisations that are Blue Light Collaboration Authorities (Surrey Police, Surrey Fire and Rescue, Sussex Police, East Sussex Fire and Rescue, West Sussex Fire and Rescue, South East Cost Ambulance).
To call-off from the DPS, the Participating Authority should either.
Obtain access to In-Tend and run mini competitions themselves, at their own cost.
Use our in house Procurement team to run mini competitions. This will be subject to an administrative cost of between 50 GBP and 2 700 GBP per tender, depending on the size/time-scale of the tender.
The Contracting Authority must take responsibility for the issuing and signing of all contract documents.
SCC expects a regular exchange of supplier performance data with the Participating Authority.
