The Welsh Government’s Knowledge and Analytical Services Division are hosting an afternoon for potential suppliers of social and economic research on 12 September 2012 from 13:00 – 16:00 at their Cathays Park office, Cardiff.
The purpose of the afternoon is to give potential suppliers an opportunity to hear from senior social researchers about the priorities for research at the Welsh Government over the coming year. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions to clarify understanding of the research priorities. The hope is that this information session will provide potential suppliers with an idea of what pieces of work are likely to be procured and allow them to have a more targeted approach to bidding for contracts. There will also be a demonstration on using the e-portal tendering system.
Attendance at this event will not give any undue advantage to attendees. Notes of the session will be available to anyone unable to attend to ensure a fair and transparent communication of information to all potential suppliers.
If you are interested in attending or wish to arrange Video Conferencing please email Karen Deehan at Karen.Deehan@Wales.GSI.Gov.UK by 17:00 on Friday 24 August 2012. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
