Summary:

The Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) as the contracting authority is tendering for the supply of a Software Application Development to the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS).  The MPA/MPS is seeking through this tendering process to award a contract with a suitably capable Contractor to provide these Services for initial development term and subsequent service support of the application for 7 years with a unilateral option of the MPA/MPS to extend for further periods up to a maximum of 2 years
The scope of the service is for the design and development of a scalable, high availability rich internet application based on a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise database.
The expected solution will be hosted on a private network with a typical user base of 5000. There will be a need to provide analytical tools, geo-mapping tools and document management tools as part of a completely integrated solution. The supplier must be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver a seamless product suitably assured for use
