Description
The aim of this contract is to provide system testing capability, covering in-home hardware devices which consist of embedded devices (sensors and actuators), an in-home hub, cloud platform software and mobile devices that run application and user interface software. The reach of the platform is UK only for in the region of 150-200 users. Feedback from users will be gathered via user interface, sensor data and analytics. Current iteration of platform is a home energy services research platform that currently includes browser based user interfaces, cloud software, in-home software running on a hub device and off the shelf 3rd party end devices (sensors and actuators).
System Test facilities will be available to use at Energy Systems Catapult (ESC) offices in the centre of Birmingham.
