The North West Region of Police Forces require a service provider who can clean, decontaminate and disnfest cells, vehicles and crime scenes on an ad hoc basis, the service must be available 24 hours a day, 365/6 days a year. Required response time is a maximum of 4 hours from the first call to the service provider.

Specialist cleaning, decontamination and disinfestation services of cells, vehicle and crime scenes on a call off basis 24 hours a day 365/6 days a year. 4 hour response time in Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire Police Areas with an option for the rest of the region to join during the contract period. The contract is for a 3 year period with an option to extend by 2 periods of 12 months.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside will incorporate a standstill period at the point at which the evaluation is complete and a preferred supplier has been selected and all parties notified of the result.
The notification will include full information on the decision.
The stand still period will be a minimum of 10 calender days, provides time for the unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Public Procurement Regulations(SI 2006 No 5) provides for aggrieved parties who are at risk of harm by breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
