This tender concerns the regeneration of Pearson Park, a large Grade II listed public park situated off Beverley Road approximately 1.5 miles north of Hull’s city centre. The Council has been successful in its Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Parks for People First Round Application for funding to repair and rejuvenate the park and its key historical features.
The Council is seeking to procure specialist design consultancy services to assist in progressing the regeneration plans for Pearson Park. The Council will require the successful bidder to further develop and (subject to funding) subsequently deliver the HLF Parks for People scheme for Pearson Park.
It is anticipated, that the full contract duration will be up to 36 months.

The Council will require the successful bidder to further develop and (subject to funding) subsequently deliver the HLF Parks for People scheme for Pearson Park.
The commission will be in two parts. The first of these is the HLF Second Round Application development stage where the successful bidder will work with the Council to develop a HLF Second Round Application for Pearson Park (up to RIBA Stage 3) that will be submitted by 29.2.2016.
Pending the successful outcome of the HLF Second Round Application and the confirmation of additional funding, the successful bidder will be retained to provide design consultancy services for the second part of the commission. This will be the HLF Second Round Application delivery stage of the design from RIBA Stage 4 to 7 which is to be completed by June 2018.
