Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent Police invites you to access the Pre Qualification Documents for the Provision of Driver Education Offender Rehabilitation Scheme(s) to Gwent, South Wales, Dyfed Powys and North Wales Police.
Initially the Four Welsh Forces will require the successful contractor to provide theory only Speed Awareness Courses and Driver Alterness throughout their geographical areas. The service provider would be required to carry out the courses in both Welsh and English and adhere to the Welsh Language Act.
Attendance on a speed awareness course may be offered to members of the public who would benefit from improving their driving skills following police intervention.
The Framework Agreement will comprise of National Speed Awareness Courses, Driver Alertness Course, RIDE, Course Administration and any other National Course that becomes available during the contract period able to be delivered by the provider as an accredited provider of those course(s). The Framework Agreement will be for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 1 year with both parties agreement.
The Service Provider, on behalf of the Four Welsh Forces, shall be required to manage and administrate all aspects of the courses.
