II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

This selection process is for the provision of:
1. Cleaning and servicing of steam boilers and associated plant prior to the annual inspection. Plant in scope is:
Boilers;
Burners;
Steam distribution pipework;
Steam injectors;
Water conditioning;
Carbon Regeneration;
Reverse osmosis.
2. Remedial repair work required to pass inspection.
3. Intermediate cleaning of boilers.
4. Ad hoc repairs to equipment and pipework.
5. Hire Boilers and operators.
6. Start ups from cold.
7. 4 hr. emergency call out 356/24/7.
The initial contract period is 2 years with options to extend for a further 3 years.
There are a currently a total of 8 Anglian Water sites which have steam boilers with the following manufacturers and locations. If further equipment is added during the framework term then this may be added to the scope.
