The City of Cardiff Council wishes to award a framework agreement for the provision of a street tree maintenance service.
Cardiff is firmly established as a leading European Capital City has become a recognised venue for major regional, national and international events. It is one of the most treed Cities in the country in relation to its size. It has approximately 12 000 street trees, which are routinely inspected and maintained on a 3-year cyclical basis concentrating on the Northern, South-eastern and Western areas of the City in rotation. The Council is proud of its trees and is committed to maintaining them to a high standard.
On evaluation of tender submissions, the intention of the Council is to award the 4-year Framework Agreement to one supplier.
