You have been invited to attend an event held by New Forest District Council – an opportunity to find out how you can work with the organisation on their upcoming work projects.
New Forest District Council is creating a new Minor Works Framework Agreement – a list of approved and experienced contractors for the provision of carrying out reactive maintenance repairs and small planned works on its properties up to the value of £5,000 for any one order.
The Council has an extensive property portfolio which requires general maintenance, repairs and adaptations. They’re aiming to establish a framework of experienced and qualified contractors to provide support to their existing Property Services Building Maintenance Division who deliver this work for them, whilst also making procurement process more efficient for everyone involved.
Contractors are invited to apply to join the framework which has been split into separate work categories ‘Lots’ and covers works such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, plastering, brickwork, roofing and-the-like, with a number of suppliers for each category, with the aim being to enable small to medium sized suppliers to bid for specific types of work.
The agenda for the event will be an informal drop-in session giving local suppliers the opportunity to find out more about the Framework, ask questions and network, whilst having the expertise and support from Constructionline representatives on hand giving advice and assistance on registering with Constructionline.
New Forest District Council would very much like all potential suppliers to attend the supplier event on the 30th March, however if you are unable to attend, the full tender documents will be available to download from the South East Business Portal from the 7th April 2015. Please see link below:
