Justification for a framework agreement, the duration of which exceeds four years: Framework duration is 2 years with an option to extend up to a further two years (2 x 12 month extension periods at a time).

Value stated is for the total framework period of 2 years, it does not include the value of the extension period of up to a further two years. If use of the 2 year extension period was made, entire value of framework is potentially 996 000 GBP.

VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals
Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Glasgow City Council will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point of information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Such additional information should be required from the procuring officer (see details in Section I.1 of the Contract Notice). If an appeal regarding the award of the contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (SS1 2006 No 1) provides for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the Sheriff Court or Court of Session.
