The University of Strathclyde wishes to develop a Combined Heat and Power Energy Centre and District Energy Network (CHP DE) on the John Anderson campus which will reduce baseline CO2e emissions by at least 50 % following completion of approx. 3 contract phases. This requirement for the provision of CHP engines is being issued as advance tender for the main infrastructure works to minimize impact on overall programme delivery. In addition to supply and installation, it is the intention at this stage for the contract to include for a 15 year maintenance and operations contract to support the CHP engine installation.
